A nine-member delegation led by SU Shengqi, president of College of Fisheries at Southwest University, paid a visit to the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on July 19, 2021.    

XIE Shouqi, deputy director of IHB, welcomed the delegation. “IHB and Southwest University has a long-term relationship,”Xie said.    

IHB moved to Beibei, Chongqing in 1939 where a series of research achievements were made. Southwest University, based in Beibei, has been cultivating many talents for IHB.      

Su introduced the overview of the College of Fisheries. He thanked IHB for supporting the college in discipline construction, talent cultivation, and academic exchanges.    

Both sides hope to join hands and create win-win benefits.
