The first academic committee meeting of the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was held on August 25, 2021.    

The meeting was chaired by Prof. CHEN Yiyu, director of the academic committee. 16 academic committee members attended the meeting from both online and offline venues.    

YIN Zhan, director of IHB, gave a work report of the past two years. All the attendees gave suggestions on the development planning of the institute.    

In the meantime, the restructuring of the research groups and the personnel selection of special research positions launched by the CAS were discussed.
