A seven-member delegation led by YANG Quan, Chairman of China Gezhouba Group Investigation & Design Co., Ltd., paid a visit to the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on December 31, 2021 to discuss water environment management and ecological restoration.   

HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, welcomed the delegation. Both sides exchanged views on water environment management and ecological restoration, as well as on Xiong'an New Area's rural revitalization and Lake Baiyangdian's environmental protection.   

The two sides also reached a preliminary cooperation intention on how to further improve the ecological environment of the Lake Baiyangdian basin and the ecological management of specific rivers, reservoirs and bank slopes.
