The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences held a health knowledge lecture on June 22, 2022 to enhance the health care awareness of all the faculty and students and advocate a healthy lifestyle.   

Two famous medical experts from Taikang (Wuhan) Chuyuan Rehabilitation Hospital were invited as the speakers and carried out health consultation for lecture attendees.    

Dr. WANG Zhongqiang, deputy head of Emergency Surgery Department, gave a presentation entitled "Lipid Management", which systematically explained the meaning of each lipid index in medical screening and precautionary measures.  

CAI Keyin, head of the Comprehensive Internal Medicine Center, provided an overview of the signs and symptoms of coronary heart disease as well as precautionary measures with a presentation entitled "Common misunderstandings in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease and prevention".   

After the lecture, the two experts provided health advice and medication guidance to the participating staff and students.
