The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences held the first Academic Committee Meeting on April 15, 2023. 14 members of the Academic Committee attended the meeting which was chaired by Prof. CHEN Yiyu (CAS member), the director of the committee. 

During the meeting, YIN Zhan, director of IHB, reported on the work of the institute over the past three years. This included the formulation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the establishment of key laboratories, the progress of special projects, and the institutional reform of the institute.  

HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, introduced three evaluation plans for the performance assessment reform of the institute.
